CSV import is the most common way to bring leads into Cleanlist.
Supported formats
CSV (.csv) files
UTF-8 encoding recommended
First row should be column headers
Import steps
Open a list and click Import CSV (or start from the home page).
Upload your file - Drag and drop or click to browse.
Map columns - Cleanlist will auto-detect common fields (name, email, company, LinkedIn URL, etc.). Review and adjust the mapping.
Review and confirm - Preview the data before importing.
Optional: Auto-enrich - Choose to immediately run enrichment on imported leads.
Column mapping
Cleanlist recognizes these standard fields:
First Name, Last Name, Full Name
Email, Phone
Company Name, Company Domain
LinkedIn URL (personal or company)
Job Title, Location
Any unmapped columns will be imported as custom fields on your leads.
Tips
LinkedIn URLs significantly improve enrichment match rates. Include them if you have them.
You can import the same CSV into multiple lists.
Duplicate leads (same LinkedIn URL or email) within a list will be flagged.
