Integrations overview

Every tool Cleanlist connects to and where it lives on the Integrations page: HubSpot and Salesforce, Lemlist, Clu in Slack, Google Sheets, Docs and Calendar, Airtable, Notion, Fathom, the browser extension and MCP. Who connects each one, which plan it…

Who this is for: self-serve plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Enterprise). If you bought a Cleanlist AppSumo lifetime deal, your features, limits, and pricing are different. See the AppSumo documentation instead. Support agent: confirm whether the user is self-serve or AppSumo before giving plan-specific advice.

TL;DR: Everything connects from Integrations in the sidebar. HubSpot and Salesforce are one connection per organization (Pro and Enterprise), with writes going one way from Cleanlist to your CRM. Lemlist is push-only. Slack, Google Sheets, Docs and Calendar, Airtable, Notion and Fathom are Pro features. MCP works on Starter and above and on every AppSumo tier. Pushing from the web app is free; API and MCP syncs cost 0.2 credits per lead.

Integrations overview

Cleanlist connects to the CRM, sequencer, chat, document and meeting tools your team already uses. Open Integrations from the sidebar (or Settings → Connections → Integrations) to see what is connected and link something new.

The Integrations page

The page has three tabs and a link:

The Integrations tab shows these sections, top to bottom:

  1. Workspace apps ("Meet Clu by Cleanlist AI, where your team works"): the Clu by Cleanlist AI card for Slack.

  2. Connected: one card for each CRM or sequencer you have linked (HubSpot, Salesforce, Lemlist), with a green Linked badge or an amber Reconnect badge. The gear icon opens CRM settings (HubSpot and Salesforce), the trash icon removes the connection, and the book icon opens the vendor's API docs.

  3. Workspace: each member's own Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar and Airtable connections.

  4. Knowledge ("Meetings and pages the whole team can search through Clu."): Fathom and Notion.

  5. Available: CRMs you have not linked yet, with a Find integration... search box and a Link button on each row. The Salesforce row has a Sandbox checkbox.

  6. Need a custom integration?: the Request Integration button books a call so you can tell us what you need.

You can also jump straight to any card: press ⌘K, type the tool's name (for example "HubSpot") and pick it.

CRMs: HubSpot and Salesforce

HubSpot and Salesforce are full CRM integrations. Both are direct OAuth connections at the organization level: one person links the CRM and the whole organization uses that connection.

  • Connect: Integrations → Available → HubSpot (or Salesforce) → Link, then approve access in the CRM. For a Salesforce sandbox, tick Sandbox on the Salesforce row before you click Link.

  • Write to the CRM: turn on automatic sync in CRM settings → General, sync a whole list from the CRM column in the list, or use Export to CRM in the Actions drawer. Writes go one way, from Cleanlist to your CRM, and the default Safe write mode only fills empty fields.

  • Read from the CRM: Import from CRM (HubSpot lists, Salesforce campaigns) with optional Live Polling every 8 hours, Lookup in CRM, the per-lead CRM status column, CRM filters in Find People and CRM triggers for agents.

  • Clean up: a cleanup agent finds and merges duplicates already in your CRM. See CRM duplicate cleanup.

Setup, every settings tab, matching rules and limits are in the HubSpot and Salesforce guide.

HubSpot shows Reconnect? HubSpot used to connect per user through Unified.to. That connection no longer works. Click the amber Reconnect badge on the HubSpot card and approve access to move to the direct, organization-wide connection.

Lemlist

Lemlist is a sales engagement tool, not a CRM. Cleanlist only pushes leads into it.

  1. Go to Integrations → Available → Lemlist → Link.

  2. In the Connect Lemlist dialog, paste your Lemlist API key (find it in Lemlist under Settings → Integrations) and click Connect.

The connection is shared by the whole organization. To send leads, open a lead list and use Actions → Export → Send to Sequencer, then pick Add Lead to Campaign or Update Lead and a campaign. See Export to CRM and Send to Sequencer.

Lemlist has no import, no CRM status column and no Find People filters in Cleanlist.

Outreach and Salesloft (agent plays only)

Outreach and Salesloft are not on the Integrations page. You can use them only as outside sequencers in an agent play's Add to sequence step, which also supports Lemlist and Cleanlist's own Sequences. Connect them from inside the step: Connect Salesloft and Connect lemlist ask for an API key, and Connect Outreach opens the Outreach sign-in in a new tab. Only org admins who can build agents can connect them. See Play steps.

Clu in Slack

The Clu by Cleanlist AI card in Workspace apps lets your team mention or message Clu in Slack. An org admin connects it with Connect Slack. Setup, account linking and limits are in Clu in Slack.

Workspace apps and knowledge connectors

  • Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Airtable): every member connects their own account, and Cleanlist only reaches the files and bases you pick or that Cleanlist creates.

  • Knowledge (Notion, Fathom): one connection per organization. Pages and meeting notes sync into Knowledge every 30 minutes so Clu and your agents can search them.

What each app does and how to connect it: Google Workspace, Airtable, Notion and Fathom.

MCP (Claude)

The MCP tab connects Cleanlist to Claude, so you can search, enrich and manage lists from a Claude chat. It is in Beta and works on Starter, Pro, Enterprise, the Pro trial and every AppSumo tier. See MCP.

Signup asks you to connect your CRM and Slack before you pick a plan, so a Free workspace can hold those connections during its first 14 days. Nothing syncs and Clu doesn't answer in Slack until the workspace is on a plan that includes them. Legacy Pro and Scale plans keep their CRM access; see Legacy plans.

Removed integrations

  • Pipedrive and Close are no longer supported.

  • Outreach and Salesloft are no longer CRM integrations; they only remain as agent sequencers (see above).

  • The old per-user HubSpot connection through Unified.to was replaced by the direct organization-wide connection. Reconnect HubSpot if its card shows Reconnect.

Security

  • HubSpot, Salesforce, Google, Airtable, Notion and Fathom connect with OAuth: you approve access on the vendor's own screen and Cleanlist never sees your password. Lemlist uses an API key you paste.

  • Connection tokens are stored encrypted.

  • Google access is limited to files you pick or that Cleanlist creates, and Google Calendar access is read only.

  • You can remove any connection at any time. Removing a CRM stops all syncing with it; data already written to your CRM stays there.
